Clinical Interests

Liz specializes in working with adults to navigate phase of life challenges, as well as healing from complex trauma, acute traumas, anxiety, ADHD, and depression using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Expressive Art Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy interventions. She believes that certain life experiences can keep us anchored in the past and afraid of the future, and that with the right intervention, you can move forward with confidence. She views therapy as a collaborative process, where sessions focus on exploring clients’ concerns and collaboratively creating effective strategies to promote meaningful change.

Liz also holds many certifications and extensive training in evidence-based treatment modalities. She is eager to share psychotherapy infographics with clients to help them identify and understand the brain and their behavior, so they can feel empowered.


Education & Training

Liz is a compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor dedicated to supporting people experiencing psychological, social-emotional, and health issues. She completed her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Boston, and her M.A. in Expressive Art Therapy and Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. Liz has had extensive experience working in community-based clinics serving adolescents and young adults with co-occurring diagnoses, residential programs for youth, and the Trauma Center in Brookline, Massachusetts.
