Christina Metri, MA
Associate Therapist
Clinical Interests
Christina’s clinical work focuses on supporting adults and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, relationship and attachment patterns, grief and loss, life transitions, and the impact of earlier experiences on present-day patterns. As a bilingual therapist providing services in English and Arabic (Levantine dialect), she has a particular interest in working with clients from Middle Eastern, immigrant, first-generation, and multicultural backgrounds, and brings a multicultural-feminist lens to understanding the ways that family, culture, identity, and belonging shape mental health and relationships.
Christina approaches therapy from an integrative, trauma-informed, relational, and person-centered perspective, drawing from evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and IFS-informed concepts. Her therapeutic style is warm, curious, collaborative, and conversational, with an emphasis on creating a space where clients can feel understood and show up authentically to feel understood, rather than analyzed. She believes therapy can hold both acceptance and change, helping clients understand the experiences and patterns that shaped them while recognizing their agency in deciding what they want to carry forward.
